Cheating at its best from Citi bank Rewards card. Review on Citibank MasterCard Credit Card

Cheating is a norm by citi bank credit card promoters. Some representative from Citi bank was continously calling me and he promoted one citi bank reward card. He has given lot of false information related to the merits of the card. He informed that the highlight of this card is the option to dial an emi for high value purchases at 1% interest per annum. Then I asked him how on earth can you provide emi option at 1% per annum, is it 1% per month(12% per annum). He he clearly stated that this is 1% per month and this is a unique feature of this card as the bank will be benefitted from the customer who has this card via other purchases. Then I thought it is a good offer and blindly beleived his words and applied for the card and got it. Straighaway I made a purchase of 26000 Rs and when I checked the option to dial emi I got a schoker. It is 24% per annum and if I opt for emi I will be paying 3000 Rs extra. Then I contacted customer care, they informed that 24% is the standard rate. I requested the details of the persons who made me into this trap but they didnt give. Frustrated by this experience I tore my card. No planning to settle the dues and cancel the card.

Please dont go for citi bank credit card, instead try other ones(hdfc sbi etc). Dont get cheated. You might have already recieved calls from card promotions team and they will say this card will be issued only for selected 500 people in the city and hell lot of benefits are asscociated with this card. If you dont trust my review, be ready to make a hole in your pocket. Already I have one.

There is nothing good you can get from this card. The card promoters will tell 1000 lies to get a customer because for cheating one customer they are being well paid.
