I have changed my residence, shifted to nearby block.I went to HDFC branch with registered rent agreement and MTNL bill copy to update my new address in my salary account.Branch staffs refused to change on these documents but they gave a solution to open a new linked account in that branch and I had no option so I did it.


My question is, when you can not change the existing accounts address on behalf of MTNL bill or rent agreement, then how you can open a new account on these documents?
