story
the film starts with dr parimal tripathy(dharmendra) who is renowned botany professor who is staying at the guest house decides to fill in for chowkidar who has to go to visit his ailing grandson meanwhile a busload of girl students arrive on educational touramong them there is sunita(sharmila tagore) who ia an ardent fan of dr tripathy and is pretty excited on knowing that he is presently at same guesthouse.the opening sequence basically shows funnyfaceoffs between chowkidar and students.sunita and parimal eventually fall in love
and marry
the girl constantly praises her jijaji(om prakash) who she thinks is pretty clever but parimal does not thinks so and decides to prove his wife wrong and hence hatches a plan.as per the plan he goes to jijaji house disguised as an driver who only speaks shudh hindi and hence constantly harasses jijaji by asking weird questions meanwhile sunita arrives their and after a while elopes with the driver jijaji gets pretty worried by it as sukumar sinha(amitabh) as parimal arrives there and after learning about the incident gets angry and decides to stay at his friend prashant(asrani) house where he falls in love with vasudha(jaya bahaduri) and which leads to film climax.the film is strong recommendation for people depressed as it will certainly evoke laughter
performance
parimal-dharmendra in dual role as parimal and pyare is quite good and different from his usual brawny stuff
wife-sharmila tagore looks good and also acts well
jijaji-om prakash is excellent as an harassed employer
sukumar-amitabh plays part of an english teacher trying to teach biology pretty well
vasudha-jaya bahaduri is good as vasudha
asrani and keshto also lend an nice support
