If you are planning for chopta, make sure you should have minimum four to five days to really enjoy your journey. In chopta region you can do tracking to tungnath and Chandrashila. Which is about 6 km tracking from the base. From Ukhimath, base is approximately 30km. On this 30 km way there is no hotel or ATM so be prepare. Tungnath temple is the highest shiva temple in the world. This track is very beautiful and picturesque. During Snowfall its beauty goes to the highest level. Most people do tracking till tungnath temple and they come back to the base. But as per my experience, anyone can complete the tracking to the end point "Chandrashila".it is really worth it. At Chandrashila peak you will be like in the heaven. And yes you will come back here.
