There are certain things you need to check if you are make hotel reservation in Dubai.

1) Your Travel Dates.
Always make sure you give your agent exact travel dates.Since Dubai is yet other commercial Hub of the region there is always one exhibition or r here. So if you give the exact travel dates the agent can inform you if there are any surcharge to be levied during your stay or not.

I recommend from Sep to May to travel Dubai. Rest months its too hot and humid.

2) Budget range.
This information is so important so as the hotel reservation agent can help you get what exactly you can afford. Many people ask for Jumeirah Beach Hotel and all other 5 star hotel and finally select some 3 star hotel. This waste the time of the agent as well as you might land up having rooms with not-so-very-good view. If initially you
give the budget the agent can guide you the right thing for you.

Please go for any 3-4 star if you are budget traveller. Please do not stay in 2 or no star hotel. You might spoiling you vacation if you are travelling with your family.

3) Area
If you are not sure which area in Dubai for that matter any city. Always inform to the agent the description eg. near shopping area, beach area, etc. Do not select your own area as you are traveling for frist time and the travel agent knows wat best to make your stay perfect.

Bur Dubai is Best for Indian & Sub continent Crowd.

4) Visa
If you require visa. Please inform the travel agent at the begining. Later it might get too late to arrange everything.
