Wild Orchid Resort is situated right next to the Vijaynagar
beach (Beach No. 5) 3 km from the market on the eastern side of the island is
the home of The Wild Orchid - a long expanse of white sands that divides the
lush tropical jungle and the aqua blue waters of the Andaman Sea.
Its calm waters are both refreshing and relaxing. Here is where you can float
in natural sea salts while surrounded by pristine nature. Still an undeveloped
paradise, you can wander for miles undisturbed and in peace at Havelock Island in Andaman and Nicobar. Wild
Orchid enjoys excellent private beach with thick tree cover where waters are
shallow excellent for swimming and people can peacefully relax without being
disturbed by the locals or day visitors. 

It has a popular Restaurant that specializes in Sea food and
has a special menu for Lunch and Dinner everyday. 

Andaman Islands, gives a clean
environment, greenery & unpolluted fresh air attract all nature lovers,
beach divers and scuba divers. Havelock
is accessible by a Ferry ride from Port Blair.

Snorkeling : The Andaman Islands
are know for their unbleached coral reefs and crystal clear waters. So far
about 200 varieties of corals have been documented from the Andaman &
Nicobar Islands, which is the highest in this part of the world. There are
fringing reefs scattered throughout the territory and there are also many
luxuriant coral banks in the adjoining open sea. Bright tropical fishes in many
shapes and forms along with a vast number of amazing marine creatures are
abundant in and around these coral reefs. Snorkeling trips are organized on
request. Several different sites are accessible by boat from Havelock Island.
They also provide a packed lunch, snorkels/fins/masks on rent. 


Scuba Diving : Diving in Andaman
is a unique lifetime experience. The coastal water surrounding theses islands
is the abode of one of the richest coral reef ecosystem is the world. The
specialty is that, here the coral reefs and underwater formations are undamaged
by human activity. Many of the islands are surrounded by fringing reefs, often
several hundred meters wide and separated from the shore by a lagoon of similar
width. There are also more steeply undulating hills of raven volcanic lava,
which makes for some unusual diving. Large pelagics are plentiful in these
waters, as are a variety of sharks.

Fishing : Fishing trips are
organized on request. Moonlight fishing trips can also be arranged. It consists
of 1 hour boat ride to/from fishing site and can hook barracuda, snappers,
groupers and many more. They also provide with bait, tackle, and line.


Inter-Island Trips : A hot
favorite amongst The Wild Orchid guests. These trips are organized for the more
adventurous at heart. This is where they will be guided to an uninhabited
island. They will spend your whole day in the midst of nature. By sundown we
will return to The Wild Orchid.


Jungle Trekking : Jungle treks
are organized on request. You can trek through thick tropical rain forests of Havelock. You can
experience first hand the rich vegetation and colourful bird/butterfly life. If
you are lucky you may even spot a monitor lizard or a spotted deer. Their
guides who accompany you are well versed in jungle lore and will gladly answer
your queries to make your trek an interesting and memorable one. 


Outdoor & Indoor Games :
Various means of entertainment are available on site such as library, movies,
cards, board games, volleyball, badminton, Frisbee and many more.
