I have been on vacation to a considerably virgin Hill station called Kasauli. I was floored by the peaceful beauty of the place. With not much places to roam around, it is a ideal place to go and relax.

The unfortunate part of the entire vacation has been the resort we had selected to stay that was "bliss resorts".  We checked in at 1:30 pm and we realised that that there is no other guest in the resort. On enquiring we were told that two more families are going to move in by 4:00 pm. We ordered for lunch. Although they had an extensive menu but nothing was available except of basic dal and mix vegetable and tawa roti which again was not at all good to eat. However it was quiet expensive. After having lunch we went out for shopping and bought hand knitted woollens which were really reasonably priced. We got our dinner packed and went back. No other family had checked in. Somehow we settled in our room. At around 10:30 pm we heard voices of about 15-20 drunken people fighting and screaming. We were scared and decided to try our luck at another resort which was just 300 meters from this resort called ’Baikunth Resorts’ we went there and found the resort very beautiful and were lucky to get the room in that resort as only one room was available.

Even the standard room was well kept and much better than the previous luxury room. The staff was very courteous and quiet friendly as against the staff of the previous resort who never smiled.

We had a goodnight sleep and when we got up in the morning we were pleasanly surprised to see the beautiful view from the balcony. The new resort had all the activities for recreation like pool table, TT table good landscaped lawns, a kids room etc. We enjoyed a lavish breakfast and then left.

The overall vacation was great and would love to go back to Baikunth resorts.
