EUROCLEAN Wet & Dry Vaccum Cleaner A BOON.

As we believe in doing our household chores all by ourselves we had to take the help of a few gadgets like washing machine, vacuum cleaners, etc. We are much more happier and comfortable than the people who depend on maid servants to do the daily chores. One such gadget without which we cannot imagine our life is a Vacuum Cleaner.

We have been using a vacuum cleaner since the last 10 to 12 years. It is a gadget which does the job of a duster, broom and mop much more efficiently than a servant. We use it all over the house on a daily basis and I need to do wet mopping manually only twice a week. It takes just 15 minutes of our time and the house is spick and span.

All these years we had been using the Euroclean smaller model, which used to do only dry cleaning. Ever since we purchased the Euroclean WD model (Wet and Dry) model our cleaning has become much more easier. This machine not only does dry cleaning and dusting but the wet part also can be done.

WORKING OF THE MACHINE:

This model is very sturdy and the main unit weighs about 8.5 Kg. It has a double speed power switch, one is at 1000 W i.e. high and 850 W at low position. The high position is used for stubborn dirt or quicker operation and the low position is used for lighter applications. It has a number of accessories which are used as attachments for different functions.

It has a filter cloth bag and a Special Air Filter which prevents the dust from entering the motor unit and the dust is collected between the filter cloth bag and the walls of the container. For wet cleaning the above mentioned items should be removed and a rubber gasket has to be fixed on the edge of the container. The wet wash is simply superb.

After scrubbing the floor with water and soap the water can be sucked into the machine with the help of wet squeegee scrubbing lightly. The water is collected in the machine which can be poured into the drain later.

MAJOR BENEFITS:

The floor becomes absolutely spick and span. It is a boon especially for people who have difficulty in bending, or asthma patients. Apart from cleaning the floors, this equipment helps us in dusting, removing cob-webs from the ceilings, cleaning the mosquito nets, sofas, upholstery, mattresses and many other items. Each and every nook and corner of the house can be reached by the crevice nozzle.

The other advantage is that we can keep the ceiling fan on while the cleaning work is in progress, unlike while using the broom because here the machine sucks the dust rather than sweeping it into the corner. Hence making it convenient for people who have dust allergy.

One more benefit is that even men willingly use it without feeling embarassed. And of course cleaning can be done at any part of the day including inĀ  the late evenings, more so in some orthodox families there is a belief that the dirt and dust of the house should not be thrown out of the house after sunset.

Here the dust is in the equipment itself and not thrown out of the house. The greatest part of this equipment is that the recurring expenses are nil, as there are no paper bags needed unlike the other models of vacuum cleaners, wherein the paper bags have to be changed after a few cleaning and the cost goes upto Rs. 10/- bag or more also. The price of this equipment is Rs.8, 200 but it is worth the price.

Atleast it is much better than handling a maid servant and her tantrums.
