HOW TO CHOOSE A SUITABLE FRIDGE
Dec 13, 2017 08:31 PM 5845 Views

Refrigerator is an essential part of our day to day kitchen purposes. So choosing of a good and suitable fridge for our home is great effort. So I would like to give some tips on choosing them.

  1. Size of Fridge The first thing for selecting a fridge is its size. When you have space at home, you can often be tempted to invest in a large fridge thinking it will be more comfortable. However, think carefully before making your choice because large refrigerators are also the ones that consume the most. The most relevant criterion to consider is the number of users of the refrigerator, that is, the number of people in your house. This appliance is one of the only appliances to be connected throughout the year, it can represent up to 1/3 of the electricity bill of a home, think about it.

I mentioned below the capacity needed as per the users.

1 person - Less than 250 L

2 to 3 people      -     Between 250 and 330 L

4 or more people -     330 liters or more

  1. Type of Refrigerator.(Bottom Freezer & Top Freezer) What kind of cook are you? Rather frozen food warmed or home-cooked food? Ask yourself before choosing your fridge. Then you can select the storage space fit for your lifestyle. Consumers who are used to consuming many foods and frozen foods will opt for a bottom freezer with more storage space. In addition, the storage of frozen food is facilitated by drawers. Consumers with a habit of consuming rather cool and spending time in the kitchen will usually opt for a top freezer. Thus, it will have a larger storage volume in the fridge part. The high freezer still allows to store a number of frozen products.

  2. The energy consumption of the fridge

The refrigerator is a particularly energy-efficient appliance, it is plugged throughout the year, so do not avoid the energy performance of your future fridge. This can allow you to make large savings in the long run.

Minimum we have to consider these things before you are going to buy a fridge. Use the tips and buy a suitable fridge for your kitchen.
