I thought I am going to be a proud owner of Whirlpool Refrigerator(Model: 310L DLX SS-ICEBERG) when I bought the whirlpool refrigerator. But my belief has been shattered due to the frequent breakdowns. After buying this refrigerator(Model No: 10915, Serial No: INA073800999) on 01 Nov 2007, this refrigerator has started giving me problems from first summer onwards as it would never cool properly and failed for one reason or the other.
On 31 Dec 2009 I had to spend Rs 3000.00 on account of replacement of Heater. Gas Charging. Relay, OLP and servicing. To my utter horror in the ensuing summers the refrigerator has once again failed on 17 Aug 2010 thereby forcing me to spend Rs 1935.00 on gas charging. I was told by the Service Engineer that the Gas Charging which was done on 31 Dec 2009 had warranty only upto six months.
How precise the warranty period has been worked out by the company when in the seventh month one had to again go for gas charging. This not only speaks poor of the whirlpool refrigerators but also reinforces my belief that the Refrigerator Piece given to me has some manufacturing defect from the beginning itself as it has never given me satisfactory service. Is this what you call Intelligent Cooling?** I only wish if Company instead of spending Lakhs and crores of Rupees on Advertising spends this amount on their Research and Improvement in quality which would lead to higher customer satisfaction. I request your goodself to replace this piece as I am not at all satisfied with this product. I would also like to submit that I own Whirlpool Air-conditioners and Washing Machine and had recommended the same to my parents and friends. But about the Whirlpool Refrigerators my feelings are different. Are Whirpool Home Makers listening?
