I own an ifb xephire dw for last 5 yrs which I use everyday once. Initially I was using 1 ice-cream spoon of detergent per wash with excellent results . But 2 yrs back, I got to know of soap nuts and vinegar as substitutes fo detergent and degreaser.
Since then, I have been using them with equally excellent results and now I am tension free about the detergent leftover on my vessels and also the cost effectiveness is amazing. I need to replace the 5 to 6 soap nuts after every 15 wash cycles. There has been no problem with the machine either.
