Choosing a gift for newly married couple depends upon our relationship with them .

If they are close relatives then usually we gift them some expensive products like Gold Jewellery, Watches, Expensive clothes etc .If they are friends then gifting options are many .

One can gift Apparels, watches, mobiles phones, Holiday voucher's etc .

But before choosing a gift few things should be kept in mind:

1.Try to gift some useful  product .

2.Do not gift something which every one else also gifts, then the newly wed are flooded with gifts of same type. Try to give some different and Unique gift .

3.If one cannot decide what to give then its better to gift some Gift cards or vouchers of any popular store so that they can buy products of their choice .

4.A holiday package to tourist destination is a good idea for a newly wed couple, so that they can enjoy some time away from everyone .

5.For couples who have to settle in different city and establish a new home, its better to gift them some good home appliance or gadgets or products  of home furnishing which would be useful for them .Like Bed sheets, Towels, Home décor products are very useful .

Small home appliances like toaster, sandwich maker, Oven, grill are also very useful.

6.One can gift some good recipe books to the bride to enhance her cooking skills as after marriage most of the girls find it bit difficult to handle kitchen initially, these books are helpful in those situations.

When I was getting married my close friends had arranged few dinners and lunch in some restaurants and few sessions in a beauty parlour .It was a different kind of gift but I liked it too much .
