This review is based only on the 12 year aged blend.
Chivas Regal sounds expensive. The bottle looks expensive. The price is fairly expensive. The taste is up for debate.
I did not
care for this particular blend. It was very syrupy and reminded me of novocaine. It has some serious body but little character. Meaning: At first you’ll be impressed by the bite and balls of this serious drink but that first impression will fade and you’ll realize that much like a big-budget summer blockbuster movie, you were taken by the glamour and special effects only to be left with a weak plot and crappy acting. The overall experience of this whiskey blend leaves a shitload to be desired.
