We had a counsellor who promised lot of things including personal attention by the trainers. Both me and my wife had joined this gym at Kormangala and after that it was a long painful ride.
None of the instructors were really keen on their job..it seems they were not paid well by the management. Most of the time they would huddle at a corner and would keep discussing. Each instructor had a favourite. Always female of course !
The moment their favourites entered they would hang around with them all the time. There was hardly any personal attention paid. The equipments were in good condition...that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place.
The steam bath which was supposed to be free never worked whenever I wanted it. One day and I tried it. You would have more steam if you are standing close to a pressure cooker !
Plus it was not even maintained well...the workers and the trainers kept changing often. I had three trainers and all of them except the first one were useless. One day when I went on a Sunday, I was the only one and the trainer was just not interested to spend time..he was busy doing some paper work and watching TV. It seemed he was not happy coming on a Sunday.
Overall a very bad experience...better buy some weights and workout at home and go to the park and jog. I have been doing this for the last 3 months and the benefits are great.
So avoid Chisel and if you extra money contribute it to some worthy cause.
