Story:

A Cree storyteller once said, “Stories are beings. You invite them to live with you. They’ll teach you what they know in return for being a good host…” This is precisely what Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield and Patty Hansen had in mind while putting together this gratifying collection of stories. Condensed chicken soup for the soul is a spin-off from the series and has a vintage of stories written by some of the New York Times best selling authors like Les Brown, Dan Millman, Art Link letter, Marianne Williamson and host of others.

(The condensed essence of each story is taken from chicken soup for the soul, second helping hand of chicken soup for the soul and a third serving of chicken soul for the soul.)

This book features stories on love, parenting, death and dying, a matter of attitude and many others that would probably rival those on Oprah. Each story has a wonderful blend of love, a dash of courage and a cameo of compassion in outsized amounts. The book has an array of stories all having very different things to convey. It includes everything from learning to love yourself and parenting to living your dream.

This book is without a doubt the right solution if you are heart-broken or if you need a boost or if you just need someone to lift your spirits. Every story has an idiosyncratic view about life and how different people handle the worst of situations in the best possible way.

This book took me through a realm of something I was unaware of. It broadened the way I look at life now to a great extent. A particular story that I found most stirring was about a boy who made it so clear that he needed appreciation that he told his father – “Lets play darts. I’ll throw and you say ‘wonderful’!” It purports that we all need a pat on the back or just some recognition every once in a while.

The book covers all bases of overcoming obstacles and eclectic wisdom. The stories have a resonance on any individual who reads it and sometimes can be very incisive. It will without a doubt take any nonchalant person to an emotional frenzy.

So all you people who are curious about the rules of being a human or for those of you who need a good reason why not to be a whiner go pick up your copy of Condensed chicken soup for the soul.
