Story:

CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE TEENAGED SOUL: 101 MORE STORIES OF LIFE, LOVE & LEARNING was written in 1998. The Authors are Mark Victor Hansen and Kimberly Kirberger. I sent my Grandson a Paperback copy that has 350 excellent pages of advice on teenagers.

I did peek at it before I mailed it and this is my OPINION:

The first thing I noticed about the book is that it was written by Adults but most of the Stories are told by Teenagers.

I noticed some names of famous Teenagers who had told their Stories to the Authors. Two of them are Jennifer Love Hewitt and Andrew Keegan.

I read a story about a teenager who was going though a difficult time as his Parents' were getting divorce. His Father had fallen in love with I another Woman.

I thought back, (quite a few years), when I was a Teenager and was shy in front of Boys. Then I remember the times I felt I was alone.

This Book is a collection of inspiring Stories that can teach everyone, (not only Teenagers), lessons. Each Story has a lesson to be learned and when you finish the Book you will know about Relationships, Friendships, Love and Kindness....etc. This Book can help you through the times when you feel that all hope is gone.

This Book will help Teenagers read what they need to do to succeed in their journey through their ''path'' in life. It touches each and every sentiment they go thru during that period of life.

It gives Teenagers the tools not only to help in their personal life but also to become a great Citizen by helping others through difficult times.

I enjoyed the poem called ''MAKING SARAH CRY''. You will find that not all of the Stories will make you cry as there are a lot of Poems that will make you laugh.

THERE IS ONE NEGATIVE THING and that is some of the Stories are a bit too short.

IF YOU LIKED THIS BOOK YOU MIGHT LIKE TO READ OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES:

Chicken Soup for the Soul'' the first ''Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul'' and ''Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul.''

MY CONCLUSION:

In the Book it says, ''Sometimes you can't always go to your Mother or Father for advice, they just don't always have a clear picture on what we, as teens, are facing with. You have to eventually feel grown-up enough to say, 'I CAN do this' I can face this fear of mine.''

I once heard a song by the Barenaked Ladies and have always remembered the one line that says, ''If you think growing up is tough, then you're just not grown up enough.''

I think that sums it up nicely!
