This time, I want to share my views about a stunning car, which has rolled sales in the country. It’s an SUV(Sports Utility Vehicle). It is none other than the Chevrolet Tavera.

This car has been quoted as the best replacement for a Qualis. Even though Toyota introduced Innova in the place of a Qualis, Chevrolet took advantage over this situation & brought out the Tavera at a cheaper price than the Innova.Even though the Tavera doesnt provide much power( only 82 PS) when compared to the Innova, which is 102 PS( Diesel), the people prefer the former, because it is spacious & looks better. However, when I approached the Toyota dealers, they told me that, the orders for innova was high & they expect good sales from the car.

We, at school, were asked to make a survey on automobiles. The school took us to Hyundai only. But, I decided to venture more into SUV’s rather than small cars & premium cars. The Tavera gives a decent mileage of 11 in the city ( much better than the Scorpio which gives only 9). The Tavera has a 2.5 liter engine which can pull the car with full load, quite easily. I would always recommend a Tavera for long distance travels, rather than Innova or Scorpio. This is because, the Tavera gives a whopping 20.2 kmpl on highways, whereas, Innova gives only 16 & the Scorpio, a poor14.5 kmpl. The seating is comfortable & the interiors are ok. This is where an Innova beats the Tavera. The interiors have been done very well by Toyota.

In the race for the SUV’s , there are many cars. But , the ones in the lead are Innova,Tavera,Scorpio & Safari Dicor. But my verdict for the winner goes to the Tavera for it’s high class styling & fuel efficiency.

Bottom Line: The Best SUV around at present.
