I’ve been driving my Optra 1.6 LS now for last 3 years, its already done 67,500 Kms, and believe me its never ever given me the

slightest problem.

What I like about the car

LOOKS ... its the best looking car even today, sporty aerodynamic design, the front 3 piece grill reminds you of the BMW (although they have replaced this with a straight one in the newer model)

DRIVING PLEASURE...The smooth drive is what sets this car apart, the sound proofing is very good, you don’t feel a thing when you are inside, engine & outside noise is bare minimum, the suspensions are excellent. Air conditioning is superb, it cools in seconds at ambient temp of 40 C also.  Even during monsoon the optra easily manages through 2-3 Ft water logged roads, the dehumidifier is a excellent feature to ensure visibility during rains. 

SPACE.... Very spacious, you feel like a maharaja sitting in the rear seat... you can actually stretch your legs and feel the space, the front seats are also very comfortable, driver positioning is really good on highways.

FEEL BIG ... The Optra is a Big Car, and is definetely status symbol, it commands tthe same respect on the roads, you can actually feel this when other teeny-weeny cars make way for the chevy.

SAFETY.. GM offers the highest safety standards for all their products, the optra been a premium one comes with all the standard safety features without any added cost.

I have never bothered about the fuel economy, although with the AC On most of the times it gives me 7-8 KMPL in the city & 13-14 KMPL on the highway.

SERVICE SUPPORT... Although I am not very happy with the service provided by their dealer Gallops Motors in Ahmedabad, the spares like brake pads, filters etc that they change during every PM are expensive. (my last service bill was Rs. 9,780/-) I had to replace the original double horn within the first year. The wheel disc is also pretty expensive. 

So the journey so far with my chevy has been smooth, and I trust this car 100 % when it comes to safety on the highways. I have still many places to go with my chevy...
