Entertainment! Entertainment! Entertainment!
Being a South Indian I can understand the hard work put in by Deepika Padukone to learn the accent and perform brilliantly. Once again a movie which would grant you entertainment at the highest level and no doubt this was one of the highest grosser during it's time. This movie is also a kind of movie that can be watched over and over again.
Plot: The plot wasn't so interesting but the way both Shahrukh and Deepika acted was awesome. Maybe that lifted the movie to a higher level. I still feel this movie throws out a particular message and that makes this movie a little more meaningful. Deepika making Shahrukh realize the importance of his Grandfather and the love towards him.
Cast Performance: As already said the movie is lifted to a higher level due to the cast performance. Both Deepika and Shahrukh seemed supreme at their acting skills and no one can complaint about this. Deepika father too played a descent role and so did Tangaballi.
Sound Track: The Sound track of this movie isn't too bad either. Infact I could rate it 3 on 5 and a couple of songs could score a 4 as well. The lungi dance song dedicated to Rajnikant was good and can get anyone into the mood to dance. A couple of more songs that could score 4. So maybe I could shift my rating further to 3.5 or maybe 4 as well.
Cinematography: The scenes were shot well and no where in the movie did I feel that they were shooting on the sets with dummy trains etc.
Final Verdict: People who search for logic in every minute detail kindly refrain watching this flick and those who prefer a dose of entertainment do watch this.
