I do not completely agree with Jaideep (that is the only review thats available as of now) about the place looking like a circus!!?? but I would say that the ambience is pretty different from any
other restaurants that I have so far visited.
I would however agree that its pretty difficult locating this place as its very well camouflaged from the main Road (except for a well hidden sign board) and the very first look could be very mis-leading (its indeed a hut - a big one but has ample parking space - thats what I liked about the place).
If you shake off your initial inhibitions and decide to step in, you will surely feel that you have reached some nach(dance) bar as the ambience inside looks pretty shady - big filmistar posters, silk drapes around etc etc.
Seats are pretty un-comfortable (cannot rest your back) as the cushions provided on the stone benches are only meant for your bums & nothing for the back, some stones have pretty sharp edges which are really a pain.
The Menu is printed on a colorful silk cloth and has a variety of Punjabi veg & non-veg dishes. We tried kalmi kababs and Murg kolhapuri which was very good (the chicken was very fresh & soft) and so was the veg haribari kabab which just melted in our mouth.
I found the place to be a bit expensive (Rs 120 for a plate of Kalmi!!) but its pretty much OK for Koramangla crowd I guess.
If you want somewhat a very different ambience (and if you are ready to put up with some un-comfortable seats for sometime) and want to taste some very good Punjabi non-veg & veg dishes, this would be an ideal place and I would recommend it.
