Am still suffering from severe acidity and cramps and I had dinner two days back! Some people never learn. I had been to Chandi Chowk, about a year back and came back impressed with the spacious parking. That should have been the warning, nothing about the food really struck a chord.

I decided to try out the place again. We ordered Baby Corn something for starters. "Less Oil", my friend had stressed. Of course, that meant the whole dish was floating in oil. Then the main course - Dal Tadka, Veg Pulao, Naans and Aloo Jeera. Dal tadka was watery and since the terms of this BBS do not allow me to use abusive language I will stop there.

The service was nothing to write home about, given the price they charge for the dishes. There were some interesting observations about the decor though. It has a very dhaba-ish look with gravel filled pathways stone-sitters but the whole place has a thatched roof. How safe is this, when you have tiny decorative lamps dangling from suspicious looking wires? I was happy I had some insurance.

I came back impressed with the parking.
