This is now almost 15 months I brought this AC. hard from my friends that carrier is the best I spend 4.1k in this 5 star model for may bed room. I already have another AC from LG in other room for last 3 years.
at first look is good. the white LED digital display also works as a night lamp.
this AC is realy silent as compare to other one.
electricity consumption is real low as in last summer each night this AC ran for at least 10 hours each day but feel very light on bill.
when it comes to cooling . the real story begins. my room is 110 sq feet. even running for 3 hours it can bring down room temperature to 27 c when outside temp is 32. most of time it feels too hot with mild cold breeze for couple of minutes. so u can imagine how it fees when in calcutta summer mid day temperature shoots to 40 degree. I just cannot stay in my room and move to other room fitted with LG AC. all 3 service done. I complained about cooling but no improvement. basically I feel cheated as I spend 5k extra than other brands available at that time.
so verdict is do not go by name. all copper is a scrap if it cannot cool. not recommend at all.
