1) The AC did not cool sufficiently after installation. Even 1 hr after switching on it couldn't reach a temperature of 26 degrees.
2) The AC after multiple iterations was deemed to have leaked Gas by carrier technicians. - couldn't they have known this on the first day of the installations.
3) I had the product returned and refunded but the process of inspection, uninstallations and shipping back took almost 10 days and was inconvenient to me as I had simultaneously started painting the room where this was being installed. Effectively my painters working on a daily wage ended up being held back by almost 2 days and this caused me an extra expenditure of about Rs. 3500,
4) Plus I had made the installation coincide painting work so that the paint is not damaged in the installation process.(I was shifting from a window AC(Slot in wall being sealed up) to a split AC - new hole created in the wall for tubing.
5) Flipkart too long in taking the refund, carrier too was not fast enough. They could have uninstalled the AC right after fitting since it did not work properly.
6) Carrier technician tried to imply the room was too large(but on the third visit after concluding that the AC itself was not working properly.). The AC that was present in the room earlier was a 1.5 Ton Carrier model from 10 years back and it did cool the room fast enough, so this argument from Carrier hold no water.
7) This model does not provide room temperature reached reading, and the technicians too did not carry a working temperature gauge adding to the woes.
Overall a 1 star effort
8) The Flipkart and Amazon exclusive carrier models have lower cooling capacity compared to the Superia model from carrier.
9) Carrier customer support denied knowledge of this model name and had no information about it.
10) I do not recommend this model at all.
