Now I realise why Stephen King is widely regarded as one of the best horror novelists ever.Somehow his novels have the ability to keep you gripped until the last page.I’m not really very fond of all the supernatural stuff,but this was one such novel which kept me engrossed till the very end.
        Carrie is an innocent young schoolgirl empowered with a terrible power....telekinesis!May sound rather scientific,but its a terrific novel.Carrie has always been the underdog,downtrodden by her fellow classmates,always at th wrong end of a joke.To make matters worse,her father is dead and her mother happens to be a religious fanatic.But,in the privacy of her room,Carrie masters a terrible power and once when a prank is carried too far...Carrie decides to unleash her fury on a little town.This is the story of Carrie who has been pushed over the edge and in return unleashes an unimaginable horror in a tiny little town.Innocent schoolgirl or vengeful demon,Carrie will definitely give you the shivers...
       The plot is truly imaginative,but I think that the rather more scenic parts {which seems a bit like Sheldon if you get what I mean}could have been omitted.But,overall,an excellent book.If you have any night free,I would definitely recommend this book..
