Capgemini is not good for you. Almost every week they have a recruitment drive when they have hundreds on bench. Why so? The managers, less said the better. Work ethics are very poor. Intimidation is the rule of the day. You feel like you are back in school or college, where the teachers and lecturers behave in a very petty manner. Everybody has their whims and fancies, its honestly disgusting.
No respect for your experience or even the work you do in a previous project. No proper evaluation. Forget it if the client has sent you appreciation mail and what not. If the manager does not fancy you, be pretty sure you will be given the pink slip very soon. I encountered some of the worst people with no integrity at all! No wonder they keep loosing projects by the day! The way they cheat the clients?!
I mean honestly do you think the British, Americans and other westerners are so foolish? They don't check the work estimation for a project? The yearly appraisals are just a sham! The more you stay here, the more your confidence is worsened! Better get out of here! The sooner the better!
