Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd is one of the biggest IT company in India and Unite of Fench MNC based at France.I like to tell the thing start from the way any MNC recruit freshers. They always like to come at biggest college in zone and there is not any harm it.
But, the painful part is that out of their selection almost 80% are from the same college and to show neutrality they recruit 3-4 candidates from other colleges to show their neutrality. Which is not good in any mean. The other thing is that there are too much noise for fresher during his raining days.
THere are almost 2-3 vocal heads make life difficult to new comer. It is always difficult to select one to follow. I don't know why HR department not take care of it. The salary and promotion are not based upon performance. They are simply based upon partnership between you and senior guy and HR people. If you hold good bond with them, then your performance not matter and you will be automatically promoted.
The job security is not there, because they always look to hire people which are soft target and demand less salary. So, be careful regarding kicking out issues. The career growth is not linear it is too much of IF and BUT thing. The work environment is not encourages honest man to perform.
They are big and have strong background but still many things are in pieces and paper.
