Hello, so Candies is now at a new location. This is just off turner road... and down the lane from St Andrew’s college... looks pretty but not quite ready to serve.
Im a bit disappointed
with the increase in price... having said that, I don’t think I would stop hanging out there everyday sunday for brunch as I usually do. The coffee wakes me up and the food brightens my day.
A good place to hang out with friends I see more often than others.. but a little annoying when the candy boys take forever to notice that you exist and actually allow you to buy something.
Anyway.. good place as I said. Good ambience... almost romantic at the right time of the day.
Some thoughts:
- It would be nice to be served at the table since it takes forever to buy something
- A change in music sometimes would be good for kids like me to practically live there
