Ever since I started eating chocolates, I always choose Cadbury, although honestly, I don’t have any brand preference. I have tried different kinds of Cadbury. From milk chocolates(dairy milk) to other types with nuts or fruit mixture. Of all these Cadburry chocolates, I love the plain one the most. This, however, does not set aside the fact that other varieties are very delicious.

Recently, a friend of mine gave me a Cadbury bar. Somehow, this is new to me. This is Cadbury Dairy Milk Apricot Cumble Crunch. I think it tastes good. Well, I maybe bias because I love chocolates but this is true. Cadbury Dairy Milk Apricot Cumble Crunchproves its name, a chocolate bar with a good quality. It truly bears its name.Admittedly, if I am to list my favorite chocolates, I will have this Cadbury Dairy Milk Apricot Cumble Crunch as my 20th favorite chocolate. It is because it has apricots.I don’t like apricots that much but thank to Cadbury. Mixing it with dairy milk chocolate somehow makes me appreciate the taste of apricots.

Dairy milk chocolates can bring about good effects in our body. Apricots, similarly have good effects in our body. If you will try to search the internet on the nutritional facts of apricots, you will somehow discover that it is really good. It has special properties that truly makes it special. This Cadbury Dairy Milk Apricot Cumble Crunch makes a person who does not love to eat apricot, to learn to appreciate this food. It is because, once this apricot blends with Cadbury dairy milk the taste is really good.

About the packaging, it is packed well. The yellow-orange colored package is not-so-good but I think it attracts kids the most. Anyway, for Cadbury fanatics, they should try this one, it is really really good.

Weekends can sometimes turn out to be boring & uninteresting! Normally, we look forward to the awesome Saturday & Sunday combo but what if these turn out be gloomy? Well, there’s always a way to turn around the situation & make it a better one. I love indulging in a Cadbury Silk chocolate whenever I get a chance to & during this gloomy weekend, I certainly need something to make it sweeter. My pick for the day is Dairy Milk Silk Fruit & Nut.

First Bite Experience: I admire the standard Cadbury themed plastic package. What separates this pack from the regular ‘Dairy Milk Chocolate’ is the way it has Silk written on it. The pack clearly features a piece of chocolate along with cashewnut & raisin & you know what’s waiting for you in there.

Coming back to the first bite experience, every piece of Silk is elongated. It resembles a mountain minus the peak. As you pop a piece in your mouth, the first thing you’ll notice that it just melts in your mouth. The presence of cocoa butter in the recipe does the trick. Taste is yummy & I cannot taste the milk at all. The texture is creamy & sugar is not much either. I like it! But what disappoints is there’s negligible presence of fruit & nut. They could have been more generous with cashewnut & raisins.

Taste: Deliciously creamy texture & tastes the same as the regular bar of Cadbury Silk. The difference is bits of dry fruits which makes a slight difference to the overall delicious experience.

Sweet Quotient: Overdose of sugar has been taken care of. Sweetness of the Silk doesn’t overpower its taste & that’s a good thing.

Worth it or not? Priced at INR 160 for 145 gms., this silky smooth chocolate is a sure delight for your taste buds. You can opt for a smaller pack weighing 60 gms for INR 60. Having said that the fruit & nut variant doesn’t hit the sweet spot as dry fruits like cashewnut & raisin can be hardly felt in every bite.

“Just a little piece of advice is to avoid keeping it in the fridge for too long. This is best enjoyed slightly below the room temperature & not in a frozen state.” – Chocolate Lover
