Cadbury Crackle is a large 210g block of the classic Dairy Milk milk chocolate, featuring rice crisps spread throughout. Although I understand puffed rice is not uncommon in the States, the only product we have here in Australia that I'm aware of with it is Nestle Crunch.
That particular bar has been around for many, many years, so it's a wonder why Cadbury has waited so long to put out its own version. The pieces of puffed rice are light and airy, adding a good, crunchy texture to the chew. They add a little bit of a cereal flavour, just enough to tone down the sweetness of the chocolate. The chocolate is soft, allowing the rice crisps to take centre stage. I do find that the rice tends to stick a little in my teeth.
