Some useful tips on buying a brand new TV is as follows:
1.First of all dont buy any LCD tv. because the LCD tv has very short life with bad picture quality, after which it may damage. so you should buy only the LED tv. which is most popular now a days. it is last longer with more life as compare to LCD tv.
2.While purchasing a LED tv its picture quality is the most important thing which we want to consider. it is in pixels. go for full HD smart TV. you should choose any company tv but for the best picture quality I recommended the SONY BRAVIA series which I am using now at my home. this tv fullfills all the requirements of you.
3.Second thing which is considerable is the sound quality of the LED TV. without crystal clear sound the tv is nothing. see the watts of the tv speakers and woofers for best sound quality.
4.Ports: It is not important but consider some what for using other functions on the TV. check wheather the HDMI, AV TV, Dolby digital port, USB ports, Cable port, Subwoofer port are installed on the tv or not.
5.Never buy any local brand tv if you want expirence the best. go only for branded like SONY etc.
Connectivity: choose smart tv which comes with the internet and wifi connectivity. which is usefull to surf and play online videos on the tv live.
Watch the TV from all the sides while the Demo is playing and notice the tv is giving the same and best picture quality from all the sides or not.
