Buyalmost.com is an online bidding site. buyalmost.com is a professional money making bid site. Special Caution to new users!! Never invest in the buyalmost.com site before you watch it at least
for a month. Their buyalmost.com bid system is system is very unstable. Most of the time they suffer from what they themselves call "INTERNET LAG" time. It simply means what ever you do, you can never be the last bidder (Especially on the high value items costing more than Rs.10,000/-). What happens is you wait till the last 5 or 3 seconds to bid and then your bid never registers. The solution buyalmost.com offers is to use bidbuddy (where the system automatically bids on your behalf.) But this is only a money making technique used by buyalmost.com. In this way you loose all your bids at one go. Not only that, when you use bid buddy certain users seem to be able to outbid you even at 2 or 1 seconds!! And mostly the users able to do this are the same. Maybe system generated users working on behalf of Buyalmost.com. Sometimes even after your bid timer reaches 00.00.00 and shows "Ended" these users are able to bid and win.
TO SUMMARIZE: Please do watch at least some auctions till the end (Especially products costing more than Rs.10,000/-) before you decide to bid on buyalmost.com. I have documented examples for lots of errors in buyalmost.com. I am also in the process of further monitoring and recording the auctions at buyalmost.com and am willing to share it with other users who have fallen prey to buyalmost.com errors and lost money.
