Well, with another new Bible Study starting up at the church in which I am teaching, a new workbook was needed. The two local Christian Book Stores were out and could not get them in time for the new class. So I went on a mission to find this workbook for the some of these ladies.

I went to several places online seeking this workbook and found it at several places. I ordered 2 of the copies I needed from one store (www.amazon.com, which I have already written about and do recommend that you look there as well before purchasing books) but I had to seek elsewhere for the other 2 workbooks.

I found the best price with free s/h at www.buy.com, which I found through my account at www.mypoints.com.

When you first come on to the site you will find a wonderful display of color, organization and options! Across the top you will find links of various interest such as: Computers, Software, Electronics, Wireless, Books, Magazines, Music, Games, Video, DVD and Clearance. Each link will take you a different page offering various items under each title.

On the left hand side of the homepage you will find “Price Mistake of The Day” and “Spotlight Specials” and various software offers. Down the middle of the page you will find sale items for various needs. And on the right hand you will find various deals for wireless services, the buy.com archives and the buy.com magazine. Which by the way is a free service. Just sign up via your email address and you’re set.

You can shop at the Clearance section for various items that are on sale or clearance. S/h may vary depending on weight. But most s/h is free.

And the use of their search engine is very easy. This was how I found the workbook I was looking for. Each page loads quickly and accurately. The site is really very easy to get around.

You can find a site map at the bottom of the homepage that will take you pages of all the items offered for sale. This is a very large selection.

You can also order gift certificates for that someone in your life that is hard to buy for. Let them pick out their on stuff!

My Order

The Workbook I was looking for was “Created To Be God’s Friend” A Study of Abraham, by Henry Blackaby. And let me tell you this workbook was not to easy to find at an affordable price, until I came to www.buy.com and found it for $10.07 with free s/h. So that was really cool.

I simply clicked on how many I wanted and then went to check out, which was very simple to use. I put in all my information, including credit card and felt very safe in doing so, because buy.com comes highly recommended by Veri Sign, which is online consumer market like the BBB is. Any my bank offers me “Protected by Visa” and I really feel safer using this feature.

My order then went to their warehouse for shipment. I could at anytime see what was going on with my order by going to my account and going to the tracking area. The United States Postal Service™ is used for s/h most packages.

You can also check you shopping cart at anytime. This is a good feature because sometimes I can get carried away and may need to delete something and wait to order later on.

I have since gone back and ordered more of the workbooks and all have come in with no problems. Wait time was about a week.

How I Feel

Well I will certainly be looking here first for my next book order, which is pretty much during the school year because my teenager is all the time needing books for her Honor Classes. I check their prices against other online sites that offer books for sale.

I also like that the pages loaded very fast and that I was able to get around the site with no problems at all.

I also like that I can order the gift certificates for family members because sometimes this is the way to go. Especially when families have lots of miles in between them.

I like shopping online, which most of my reviews state. And this online store is no exception, I like it a lot and will use it again and again.
