I bought My RE TBTS last month and till date I ran it 4900km+. Too much, isn't it. even service center guy also wonder. When I reach to him occasionally for the service of the bike.

So You guys might think Why TBTS?

People have different reason to buy RE but my reason to buy it is "The RESALE value" Of RE. Because ONLY RE bikes has Good resale value in market, in higher CC segment, rest are like gone in "Raddi ke bhav".

Driving experience:

In streets: Tough for a new guy to handle it. It has high torque at low RPM initial pick up is high and even its Jurky at low speeds specially in first gear. And handle bar is in different shape so bit difficult to handle in city. Braking of RE is bit pain in city. specially front, as I was using ZMR with double disc so I am used to using front brake and in RE has front discs but its dangerous. already Fallen 2 times till now due to its front brakes. And driving it bumper to bumper with clutch will make the engine so hot in summers and it cause lots of trouble to me. Need to wear shoes always. High ankle shoes. And there is a say "jab tak Hath ya paar na jaley then how could you say tumne enfield chalayi hain".

In Highway:

Its a sheer pleasure to drive it. it wont go below 80-90km/h you can drive it constant "Myt be you will get tired but not this bike" and driving it beyond 100km/h you must have heart. bike has vibration, Lots of vibrations.0- 40km/h you will face vibs. but once it goes beyond 60km/h till 80km/h its smooth but wen it cross 85km/h its gives vibrations like hell. and when its reaches 100km/h, You will start feeling " Hey bhagwan main tere bharose isay Tej chala rahan hoon Bacha lena". it can reach easily but slowly to 124km/h. but maintaining that speed Myt cause you lots of damage to your pocket. The bike is vibrating too much.So those Vibs myt gives lots of damage to your bike. So these vibs makes you less confident while speedy driving and even the brakes of RE is not capable to stop you instant.

Comfort:

I am in habit of long driving in last 30 days my average driving per day is 100km. it has good comfort till the engine is normal or cold, but when the engine is heated up it will start making your life hell. Fuel tank and seat both of them heated up and then it heat your legs and A#$ its painfull.. specially in summer. I dont know wats the effect of in winter its the detail I face till date. so the bike is not meant for long drives in hot summer day.

Engine Prob: yes there are some Minor(Universal) prob with RE like engine oil leakage(They don't have any solution but I have: drive your bike below 70km/h you will find less leak. the more speed you drive the more prob you will face. and this happen due to its vibrations.

Average: After 2 services it gives the normal average 35-38km/l on highways.

Service: it has to be in service center after every 3000km they inspect and change the things which are necessarily to be change or FIX. it contains almost 3 litre of engine oil which last for 6 months. cost : 600 rs. First free service cost me 700, then second cost me 200 only. Don't know about 3rd one.

First service held after : 500 km

and second held on : 3000-3500 km.

third: 6000-6500

after every 3000 km.

engine oil change after every 6000 km.

chain fix and lubricate after every 1000 km.(spray)

Overall:

A good bike. but if you are speedy freak its not for you. But if you are looking for style, comfort, a long term running engine and good resale value. This bike is for you.

Always wear helmet and drive safe.
