I brought this printer 5 months back from Croma Pune at 3999/- and found it handy and nice to scan personal documents. Nice to print photos but always use good printing paper. Normal glossy paper can spoil your print as well as ink too.
The ink gets consume very fast and brother company did not recommended to refill. They suggest to buy new
cartridge which cost more. We can still go for ink refill which is cheaper.
Apart from that I do not see any issue with this printer . To save ink Brother support guys suggested to keep printer always on. I like the other feature of converting printed document to text file using OCR but it will only scan text part not picture part. It comes with good scanning software from papersoft which gives u feature to scan multiple pages into same file. It supports different paper size .
As of now do not see any technical issue with printer.
