British Airways is my most favourite Airline. I also like
KLM ,
SAS ,
TWA and
Quantas. Among the Asian and South Asian Airlines, I like to fly
Thai International,
Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines,
Malaysia Airlines , Garuda and
Air Lanka . My countrys Flag Carrier
Air India ? . Yes, Sometimes. For domestic travel, of course
Indian Airlines British Airways, formerly known as BOAC ( British Overseas Airways Corporation ) stands out differently, because of the following reasons: Punctuality, Courtesy, Good Service, both in the Cabin and on the ground, Attention given to passengers, and, of course excellent food. The Air Hostesses are very friendly and are always ready to serve you with a smile. Although a Member of IATA, it goes out of the way to please the passengers with the drinks of their choice. Children are the most pampered lot.Every child passenger is given a gift.
Once we were going to Singapore from Calcutta by BA. Our flight was at 11 in the morning. At 6 in the morning we were called by
British Airways and asked if we had any pre-departure anxieties like excess baggage and the like. I thanked BA and replied that we had none.
Once flying from London to Paris, I was put in the Business Class although I had an Economy Class Ticket. Plenty of drinks and goodies on the way.
BAs Flight Magazine is very good- full of interesting facts and good Route Maps which are very useful.
To show my gratitude to
British Airways my next trip to New York would be by BA. Thats my Airline.
