Brazil. The undisputed kings of football - a sport thats played all over the world.

One touch passes that never lack precision, the ability to instantly change the way of attack from one flank
to the other with high passes and the ability to control them with consummate ease, a never-ending pool of talent where a Carlos is replaced by Cicinho, Cafu by Gilberto and a bech with the likes of Robinho and Juninho who would easily make first squad of any other team - all these qualities instantly make them favorites for the greates laurel in the sport.

But the one thing that for me sets them apart is their amazing ability to attack down the middle with searing precision passes dipped in individual brilliance. Its an ability that few teams can boast of. Mostly they concede in the middle when outnumbered or prefer the flanks. But Brazil with players like Ronaldinho, constantly keep attacking down the middle creating some of the most beautiful of goals. A play style thats so fluid and yet so precise enables them to get into the ’exhibition’ mode of theirs when enjoyin a decent lead - very unlike other teams which prefer defending a lead than increasing it futher.

Its a team that comprises some of the best in the world and the best in the world (Ronaldinho). Any side that has the likes of Cafu, Adriano, Carlos, Ronaldo and Kaka in its ranks has to be loved and feared by the opposition. Its the amazing talent on offer and the spirit in the team that has sent shivers down the teams who see Brazil in their half of the draw.

In an interview, Kaka said that Brazil play with a surprisingly less regard to tactics. He said its all upon the player as to what he wants to do with the ball at his feet. Thats in stark contrast with European teams who traditionally depend on astute tactics and formations to win. What it provides is the room for creativity and individual brilliance and its the way Brazilians play and have played football in general - even when they are young. Thats the reason they have produced Pele and Garrincha. Thats the reason you often see Brazil play a good spirited game as Europe sometimes banks on hard tackling and physical strength.

If football is beautiful, Brazil make it amazing.

If there is talent, it is here, it is here, it is here....

Pros:
Fluidity of play, talent, sprirt, style ....
Cons:
none
