This is my first-time write-up towards Mouthshut.com :)
Went through the portal and its different sections and came upon this one. and it struct me...why not begin here???

Am sure not the person who’d review appliances, bikes, cars or airlines. I’d stick to books, music, movies and so on. So I thought, why not confess my book habits?
"Confess" is too strong a word, right? It colors a picture of having hid something...hhmmm, but are book habits anything to hide?

Here are a few bookie-thingies about me:

* After the title, I read the back of the book...that decides, if I take it or leave it.
* The font of the text is an important factor to me.
* Any book on feminine issues, esp. from the Middle East triggers the get-the-book feel in me.
* Non-fiction, is what I love!
* A very important book habit that I have is that I buy books from the street vendors! Many might not  approve of it, but then I prefer that. Yeah, low cost is defenitely the USP. But over a peiod of time, the whole experience of getting a book from the roadside, keeps me happy - so why not help myself, right?
* Hhmmm...I think, I like owning books to lending them from a library.
* When it comes to Archies - "Betty’s Diary"  - I love it!
* Another thing I love doing is, to buy magazines, papers from the vendors at traffic signals, when I am in a vehicle. It comes to me just like that!
* Am crazy about buying notepads, notebooks, pens and pencils...it gives me a pleasure unexplicable!

Hhhmmm....can’t think of more, right now.
Will be around...and shall keep writing!
