The oldest stock exchange of Asia
BSE which started in 1875 under the banner ’’The Native Share and Stockbrokers Association’’ is emerging into one of the most hitech stock exchanges
in the World.

The average daily turnover of the transactions is stagerring 2729 crores in 1999-2000.

This stagerring amount of trading has only become possible because of the efficient satellite communication services provided by ISRO.

There are around 291 centres having 1207 VSATs and 1795 TWSs in Mumbai alone which allows trading.
