I have visited the outlet of
Bombay Blues situated at Shoppers Stop at Andheri (W). Frankly speaking I would say visit this place only if you feel uncomfortable with extra money in your pocket.
The high prices coupled with taxes and ridiculously small quantity of food makes it a restaurant which you would not like to visit again and again.
The service is good and courteous. Ambience is fine with well done interiors. Culinary choices are wide. There is Lebanese and Mexican cuisines alongwith the usual Indian vegetables, breads and pizzas and chats. The desserts , juices and ice cream sodas are worth a try. On my recent visit to Bombay Blues I discovered that they have stopped offering Indian value meals.
My favourite items on the menu are desserts. The triple scoop sundae is really worth a try even at its high pice. The problem of this place is not high prices. A connossieur of good food like me wouldnt take price into consideration if the food is really worth it. However the problem at Bombay Blues is that even at the high price which they charge the quantity of food is ridiculously small.
Parking should not be a problem here on weekdays but it might be difficult on holidays. However on weekends and holidays it would be difficult to find a place here as seating arrangement at Shoppers Stop outlet is quite limited.
Despite all its merits I would not recommend a visit to
Bombay Blues as the VFM ( Value For Money ) is very very low.
