Bombay Blue at Andheri is located next to Shoppers’ Stop (within the same premises). They have other branches at Bandra, Kala Ghoda and Lower Parel (Phoenix mills). The one at Andheri has recently
been converted from a Pure Vegetarian fare (Bombay Blue Veggie) to the normal multi cuisine including non-vegetarian. But that has hardly made a dent in the variety and quality of service. The restaurant serves Indian, Mexican, Lebanese and Italian food.

Ambience: Excellent. White and blue colors with a very contemporary furniture create a feeling of space. Most of the crowd coming here is from Shoppers’ Stop so obviously lots of families come here compared to the one at Bandra which is a hang out for mainly the young crowd. But, nevertheless, its not the place to have a quiet, romantic date. The place is usually quite noisy. There are many TV screens, unfortunately, they are not visible from all the seats. Good place to enjoy with friends if there is a cricket match on.

Service: Very good service. Well dressed and well mannered waiters. At peak hours, it can be pretty slow though. The waiting time can also be 30-40 minutes depending upon the day (weekday/weekend) and the hour (dinner time is crowded). But this is not a big letdown because you can always check out stuff at Shoppers’ Stop after getting your name on the waiting list.

Food: This is the best reason to go to this place. The variety is mind boggling and more importantly the food tastes great and is very good value for money. ’Dal Maharaja’ from Copper Chimney is always a favorite and so are the Cream Centre Bhaturas. This is the only restaurant in Mumbai where I’ve had authentic Delhi chaat. Aloo tikki chaat is amazing. Sizzling Brownie is one of the best dessert you can have anywhere. Its a little expensive at Rs.95/- but still worth all the money. One can have unlimited pepsi for Rs.29/- and they also have kids meals on their menu. The vanilla shake is another hit.

The average cost of dining per person should be Rs.150-200. If someone skips the drinks and dessert, one could even have a meal for less than Rs.100/-. The most expensive item on the menu costs Rs.175/- Valet parking available. If you plan to dine out on a weekend/holiday, its better to reserve a table. Phone # 2623 2222/7000.
