went to this place with two of my colleagues from work on a hot monday afternoon. This place is more of a cafe than a restaurant actually, with a little more fizz than a cafe.
service is attentive
and we were well taken care of. We had a mexican sizzler, an Indian non veg sizzler and some falafel. oh yeah, had a vegetarian soup and some garlic bread too.
The garlic bread during lunch was a bit of a mistake, though not the restauranteurs fault.
The food arrived pretty quickly inspite of us having asked for two sizzlers. Both the sizzlers were moderate in taste and so was the falafel. the soup was passable too.
This place has quite an eclectic menu, with regular Indian stuf like chhole bhature, to some mexican stuff, some italian, quite a few salads etc.
BB is also the first place that I have ever seen that has advertisements on its menu card. Strapped, are we? Didnt seem to from the surroundings. The place was quite crowded, perhaps because of lunch time and its proximity to the ever crowded Linking Road.
The patrons were quite a mix too, the young and the brash, corporates like us, and the fat auntyjis from Pali Hill as well.
If you are with your friends, do not mind the noise, go there - but dont expect a restaurant like atmosphere. Expect a nice cafe and you will come back happy.
