An air conditioner(AC) of Blue Star brand with 1.5 tonne capacity was mounted in my personal cabin at my office one and a half years back.
The size of my room is 12x8 square feet. It was working satisfactorily until last three days. It suddenly stopped cooling and I informed to the respective officer in my office.
The officer visited my room and investigated the problem. When he switched the AC on, it started working instantly, but stopped after two minutes. Then the officer told me that the motor of it which is mounted on the top floor of the building has tripped and went upstairs to check. He returned back after five minutes and said that the motor has gone out of order and needs to be taken for service at the dealer's office and took away with himself. It happened three days back. The very next day, he told me on phone that the motor has burnt and needs a fresh binding that will take one day completely. Then today in the morning I called to know the developments and I was told that it will take two more days.
I am absolutely dissatisfied with the AC and service of the company. I need to state that I very rarely used it in the past and did not use completely for last four months during winter. I had been using it only for last 10 days or so. Then it is quite surprising for me that how can the motor get burnt since it is only 18 months old. Secondly, the service provider is not competent enough to resolve the issue even in three days. Then how can one rely on this brand?
