CORRUPT MANAGEMENT. Review on Bishop Cotton Girls School, Bangalore

Bishop Cotton's Boys School: This school may have earned a great image, being one of the best schools of Bangalore in the past.This school was brought to this level because of the past principals like Mr.Ebenezer & notedly Col.John Ellis. It was their discipline and clean handedness that led to this school being so popular and Great.

Col.John Ellis was a Totally Non Corrupt gentleman who cleansed the entire Process of Admission. He was thrown out only because the Lobby that flourishes on Seat sales every year could not make money. During the management of Col.John Ellis, the school set new standards and raised to great heights. Sadly, he was pushed out in the most shoddy manner.

But, currently, the people in the helm of affairs have made this a Hell Hole for Parents seeking Admissions. The Principal is hand-in-glove with the Corrupt authorities and agents. If you get an Admission in the First List easily, you could be, just plain lucky. But for those who don't see their son's name on the first list, it is just how much bribe you are willing to pay to get your son a seat. "Money talks at Bishop Cotton's Boys The entire Admission process stinks of Bribe and corrupt people & practices. Starting from the Receptionist at the principal's office who is the Hub for the entire racket. This Lady at the reception will not even allow you to meet the principal to address yourself. The Receptionist has a clear understanding with the Principal and the principal is supposed to blindly sign wherever she asks him to.

Once this receptionist frustrates you and when she understands your desperation for the seat, she will suggest to you that she could help you with the admission later she will recommend someone to you, saying that person could help you with the admission. This person will ask you how much you are willing to pay. They gauge your worth and desperation and quote exorbitant amounts to get you a seat.

Next is the peon at the Vice Principal's chamber, this thin tall guy, on seeing you regularly will approach you saying he could help you with a seat and how much you are willing to pay etc. Then comes the quacks, agents and so called Committee members who wander around the campus in search of Gullible parents who can be taken for a jolly ride. Some parents I met at the campus, told me that they have paid huge amounts to one of the committee members Last year and that he has promised to get them a seat, this year.

PLEASE! this is education of a child and children are the future of our country. Please don't make Business out of Admission. I fully well understand that there must be parents who got their admissions without any hassle. I don't say this does not happen, but kindly understand the struggles of parents who don't get an admission through the So called "First List of Admission".

I hope this most honoured institution of Bangalore, that has produced so many noteworthy people is Cleansed and a proper Admission Process is put in place. There should be one First Admission list and that should be final, instead of holding on to a bunch of seats even after the first list and trying to encash those seats to the maximum.
