Story:

This book is a sequel to the earlier written book by the author Anurag Anand with the title The Legend of Amarapali.

The large section of the book is based on the references from old Buddhists writings. It contains a fascinating life story of a life celebrated in mixed popular culture in India.

The only but very important aspect of the book which lets it down is the language, which is tedious, heavy with adjectives and baffling frequently. The author has extensively used inserted words from thesaurus with little knowledge of how they should be used. There are numerous instances of proofing errors, more than dozens and spelling misses at quite a few places.

The story goes as Amrapali born in the city of Vaishali and grew up to be the courtesan . Amrapali left the life of power an influence at last, eventually to become a Buddhist arahant. A fascinating life and one of a kind celebrated in popular culture. The story line is captivating and almost keeps the reader engaged throughout.

The book requires proper/drastic editing and proofreading by an thoroughly experienced reader to make it readable by large sections as in the current edition its too laborious to do that.
