Problems faced when ordering SWIFT ZXI

Hi,

        I planned to go in for my first car Swift ZXI. I
chosen Bimal showroom as this rated high and i have decided to take the car by
paying the full amount. I needed the car at least
by mid of May. I am booking
the car by 3rd week of March
. I asked them about the waiting period
for SWIFT ZXI and i was told it will be delivered with in 30 to 45 days from
booking. I confirmed that in written and booked for SWIFT ZXI. I booked the car
of my own color choice and paid the booking amount too. But late in the evening, the
showroom manager called me and told that the waiting period of the car cannot
be met. He also told that it may take up to

more than three months too. The
manager informed that people who booked for ZXI on December still haven’t got
their car
. When i asked for reason, they told It is problem from Maruti itself.
They don’t dispatch cars quickly. They suggested me to go for VXI model that is
available and delivery is possible in one week time. If I cancel the ZXI booking,
i have to pay them Rs.500 as cancellation fees. In spite of arguing with them
about the problem is clearly from their side
, they are strict in cancellation
charge. Later i made up my mind and asked them if i have VXI with ABS they told
they have and i asked them to change my order to VXI with ABS. Then the same
way the manager again called me and told that for VXI ABS also the waiting
period cannot be met. I decided to cancel my order since I cannot wait for such
a long period. They told they will return back the amount after deducting 500
rupees and promised it takes 3 working days for me to collect the cheque. But at last I got
the cheque after one week.
Very poor service. We save penny by penny and the cost
of first car could be realized by everybody except the persons in the show
room. Now I cancelled my order from that and decided to go for some other
showroom.
