Big Bazaar is famous for its wide range of products and its compelling deals. Big Bazaar has been in Delhi for more than 5 years. Earlier a great place to shop, now the Bazaar is littered with fake deals and substandard products.
The deals printed on the pamphlets are rarely found in the Bazaar itself. In fact, one of my friends visited the Big Bazaar last time and to her surprise, they had removed the products which had a heavy discount on them. Being asked about that, the staff did not answer directly and asked her to talk to the GM. Sometimes, they print the deals and remove the discounted products on the same day itself. The deals are lucrative, but the products are substandard.
Additionally, the products often on the advertisements are entirely different from the one at display. The quality of product is ridiculously bad, especially the clothes. Often, you will find clothes bought from the Big Bazaar wearing off pretty quickly. I would also advise you against buying electronics from here.
Adding to that, the prices of the products here are often inflated. They, under the pretext of giving discount, put a higher price tag on the products.
The staff here sometimes do not behave properly. They literally shout at you, if you insist on showing more products. They are always rude and try to sell you the cheap items. The packaging of the product is not done efficiently too.
It is advisable that you avoid places like this. It is better that you shop at genuine places, instead of the marts like the Big Bazaar.
