I booked a ticket for my wife and son through redbus.in a ticket in Bharathi Travels to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad for 30th April 2015, with boarding at Hebbal at 10.30 pm. One Bharathi Bus came at 11.45pm and they did not allow us into the bus stating, another bus is coming behind. But to our surprise no bus came till 12.00 am midnight. Then I called the nos given on ticket, one person picked up and he told us that our ticket was cancelled.
We waited till 12.30 am midnight hoping another Bharathi bus will come and we will enquire them. But no bus came. To my surprise another old couple were for the same bus.
Ulimately after waiting till 1.00 am we decided to go back home and the old couple also left.
Next day morning I called up Redbus and they told my ticket was not cancelled and is still available and when I informed them about this they told they will getback to me. I received a message in few minutes that they have processed for the refund, and they asked me to write the complaint to customer care.
And when I called Bharathi Travels, they told they will getback to me, but they never called me.
My doubt is that the bus operator would have taken someone else in our tickets by charging exorbitant fare as it was long weekend and the price that day was 2000 per ticket and we booked it one month back at 800 per ticket.
Beware of this Bus Operator BHARATHI, Never go by this bus. Its not about money but the mental agony and the valuable time lost that too when you want to enjoy your holiday after hectic working days.
