First three chapters would keep you glued to the book. Then the story wanders away to other fields, which you hope are pieces, which would come together, as is usual in thrillers. The lengthy chapters that follow, narrate things, events and characters in extra details. They may be of importance, you would expect. Until you reach the last but one chapter you would keep on anticipating. And finally when you are finished 340 or something pages, you would disgustingly feel that in fact there was no light at the end. What is the title about indeed? Where are the carefully laid plans or even plans? No plans, no design, no calculation. no revenge nothing. This would leave you in utter desperation for having wasted your time and money.
