Hi Friends,
        Its a cool movie, definately not one of the typical hindi movies, with those useless boring songs. Gurinder chaddha has done a rather good job, by beautifully showing the sentiments and emotions of a young girl and her struggle to become a soccer player.

This is not only the frustration of that girl rather it is the frustration of youth of not only India but more or less of the whole world. Youth wants to do something new and innovative but they have to face the resistance of the traditions and their parents. This not only affects their creativity but also has a deep impact on their confidence and reasoning, and such a horrible thing should not be practised.

This is a very deep thought that Gurinder has communicated and very effectively also.
Mixed with some serious thoughts there is light comedy and drama kind of thing in this movie.
The Indian faimilies of U.K. have been shown nicely which gives a rather clear idea of their life abroad to local crowd.

All in all a film with some light moments and some emotion with good timing of songs and nice dialogues and tight screenplay which not lets you loose,
a good watch and of course you can learn a couple of things if you are more or less a parent that not wants their children to do any thing ’HATKE’.
