Jack347. Review on Beetel Walk Phone

I just want to share my bad experience with Beetel Walk clip. I had bought Beetel cordless phone named "Walk Clip" two years back. It had nice looks, and I was attracted to that, because of looks.(Always, Beetel cheats the customers with its great looks , but bad performance)I bought the phone with high price of Rs 3,000 from Swiss time house, Cochin(Menaka Shopping complex). The phone worked well for three months, and then problem started with battery life.. It became a situation, where I had to charge every three hours on charger. If we make two calls, it will show "Low Battery". I checked with the service people and they gave new battery. Same thing happened after three more months. I was so desperate and asked for a solution. Then, the service centre people again rplaced battery, same thing happened once again. Then I asked, actually, is it the problem of battery or the phone? I paid Rs 3000, then, its not working..I had replaced four batteries within one year !! And they day came,(the guarantee period is over, now again the problem started of battery back up, and the company service epeople told, to service it at "Telecom Bazar" at Pallimukku, Cochin. They just replaced battery and gave back. It happened for two more times. Later, I asked for service gurantee atleast for three months. Last, they told and accepted me, thi model is worst model and happened is happened..I was so furious..hearing this..I thought of putting case against this..later, I thought, nothing is going to happen..my money is lost..Even the service pple are telling that" Beetel phones are made to work till its guarantee period of one year". This is my bad experience with Beetel. So, I bought another cordless..now no compromise..I bought Panasonic and its working very well for last one year.. It has battery back up of around two days (normal calls may be 8 or 9 per day)

So, my suggestion is that, don't buy Beetel phones becos of its looks..check for quality..so go for Panasonic or Sony..thats better for our pockets and mental peace..
